Pregnant and Bleeding

If you are pregnant and bleeding it is understandable if you have concerns about the health of your unborn baby.  However, light bleeding during your pregnancy is common.  Your cervix undergoes changes during early pregnancy to accommodate your new baby.  Blood flow increases to your cervix which can lead to light bleeding.

If bleeding is heavy or lingers for more than a couple of days, it would be wise to consult with your physician.  Statistics tell us that up to 20% of pregnancies end in miscarriages.  Miscarriages typically occur within the first 12 weeks of being pregnant.

At Baby Chit Chat, we want to connect new and experienced parents around the world who wish to educate, seek advice, or simply research resources on experiences such as bleeding during pregnancy.  Become a member today and start asking the questions you have always wanted answered.  There are many experienced parents online who can help as you navigate your way through your pregnant days.
