Is it safe for me to get the H1N1 vaccine?

Postby gapeach » Thu Oct 29, 2009 2:53 pm

I am three months pregnant. I keep hearing that pregnant women should get this vaccination as soon as possible, but I also heard about the problems back in the seventies with the shot. Should I get the shot any way?

Get the shot. THere are risks with anything you do in life but trust me, the RISKS are far greater if you choose not to get the shot. So, get the shot.

I agree. Get the vaccine. There is nothing more risky for you than NOT getting it. YEs, there were issues in the past, but you cant worry about the past and you need to protect yourself and your unborn baby!

Yes, get the shot. The risks of getting the shot vs. not getting it are so small. It's just not worth the risk. And even thought the H1N1 wasnt bad this past winter doesnt mean that it wont be bad this coming winter.
