Boo Boos and Our Babies

Well it happened big this time!  I was waiting for the double skinned knees and the busted toes from a fall.  I hear what you are saying – get used to it – right?

Truth is – it was not that bad.  Not the little man was milking it the entire night.  He had dinner in bed and hugged on mamma all night, with a bottle.  What was I supposed to do – I felt sorry for the little guy. 

I am interested in reaching out to the community to understand what other parents do in this scenario.  As a parent your heart bleeds for the baby – but what is the proper protocol for some simple little fall? 

Funny thing about this experience – my baby would not even let me put band aids or touch it – until he fell asleep and I did it anyway.

I hope it gets easier to care for the little guy.  I felt so bad!
